How to Become a
Medical Marijuana Patient in Connecticut

STEP 1
Meet with a Certified Physician
The first step is meeting with a Connecticut-licensed physician registered with the Department of Consumer Protection (DCP). They’ll assess your condition and determine if it qualifies under the state’s approved list, which includes chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and more.
Once certified, your provider will submit your information to the state and give you a unique certification number which is needed to begin registration.
