For many veterans, the challenges of service do not end when they return home. PTSD, chronic pain, anxiety, traumatic brain injury and sleep disorders affect a significant percentage of those who served our country. Access to safe, legal and compassionate medical cannabis should not be another obstacle to overcome. At Fine Fettle, honoring veterans means more than appreciation. It means creating real access and real support for those who sacrificed for us.
This Veterans Day, we are launching a nationwide initiative to provide free medical cannabis card evaluations for U.S. military veterans. This effort is made possible through partnerships with Leafwell and NuggMD along with support from the Georgia Medical Cannabis Society (GMCS), Veterans Cannabis Care, VetFuel and the Last Prisoner Project’s Veterans Justice program.
Our mission is simple: remove barriers, expand access and honor veterans with real pathways to wellness through medical cannabis.
Why Veteran Cannabis Access Matters
Veterans often face more challenges than other patients when it comes to medical cannabis:
- Financial barriers
- State-by-state policy differences
- VA limitations around cannabis recommendations
- Ongoing stigma and education gaps
Breaking those barriers is not only compassionate, it is necessary for veteran health and quality of life.
