2 Big Changes to the CT Medical Marijuana Program
Effective now, there are TWO big changes to the CT Medical Marijuana Program (CTMMP)!
These are changes that we’re excited to discuss. And while they may raise more questions, we hope they’re helpful to you.
CTMMP change #1: Shop at ANY medical dispensary in CT
The first change is the elimination of the one-dispensary rule. This means that any patient with an active CTMMP card can shop at ANY of the 18 licensed medical marijuana dispensaries in Connecticut!
We understand that sometimes your regular dispensary may not have something you’re looking for. Or you’re traveling across the state and need to access products at another medical dispensary. At Fine Fettle, we ask that you please call us ahead of time if you’re new to the #finefettlefam. We want to plan for your first visit with us and create a seamless (and enjoyable) experience.
There is NO need to change your preferred medical dispensary on biznet anymore. Your allotment gets transferred across dispensaries (via pharmacist phone call), so there may be a delay completing your order. But we will get it done!
CTMMP change #2: Medical patients can buy up to 3 ounces
The second change is the increase of patient allotment from 2.5 ounces to 3 ounces! This is a step towards the 5 ounces that was indicated in recent legislation, but we don’t know when the full 5 ounces will be available to all patients.
CT medical marijuana patients can buy a maximum of 2.5 ounces in a single transaction and will need to complete a separate purchase of the remaining 0.5 ounces if so desired. Patients who have an allotment that has been restricted (less than 2.5 ounces) or expanded (more than 2.5 ounces) by a certifying practitioner will remain unchanged.
